美国国家利益和意识形态主导下的“中国形象”塑造——探析《时代》周刊(1949～2008年)的中国报道被引量：8

American National Interests and Ideology of the Dominant Image of China Creation:An Analysis of Reporting on China in Timefrom 1949-2008

摘要本文通过对1949年10月1日～2008年12月31日期间美国《时代》周刊的中国报道进行框架分析和内容分析后发现,在这近六十年的时间里,其中国报道的变化与中美关系的变化是保持一致的。其深层次的原因主要是美国国家利益和主流意识形态在很大程度上发挥作用,在这二者的共同"折射"下,《时代》周刊所呈现的"中国镜像"发生了较为严重的扭曲和变形。 This article applies framework and content analysis to repor- ting on China from Time from October 1, 1949 to December 31, 2008, and finds that changes in the tone of reporting over the sixty year period correspond with changes in U. S. -China relations. This is driven at a deeper level by American national interests and mainstream ideology, which seriously distort and manipulate image of China.
