摘要
双向浸入式教学是双语教育的一种模式,在过去的近25年里该教学模式在美国发展势头越来越好,究其原因是该教学模式具有与众不同的特征。本文主要分析了该模式的教学特点、教学目标和成功标准,尤其探讨了具有双向浸入式背景的学生在学校和社会上表现出来的优势。基于本研究,笔者提出了发展我国双语教育的一些建议。
Two-way immersion (TWI) program is an instructional approach of bilingual education. In the past nearly 25 years, this model has been popular in that this educational model has its own distinctive characteristics. This study makes an analysis of TWI's instructional characteristics, goals and successful criteria. Particularly, it explores the advantages that TWI students show out. Based on this study, the author of this paper proposes some suggestions on how to develop bilingual education in our country.
