A high reliable DC-DC converter which could transform DC high voltage power supply into DC low voltage power supply, charge and manage the battery was introduced in this paper. Its technical parameters, functional requirements and modular structure design method of slots were illustrated for the DC-DC converter, focusing on the load sharing, charging management and circuit theory of the switching power supply modules; the DC-DC converter reliability redundancy design and its corresponding protection were summarized.
