A multichannel real time speech acquisition and processing system is introduced. The system is based on PC ISA bus. Its characteristic includes real time realization of up to 10 channels speech acquisition and compression, one channel speech decompression with high ratio of performance to price by a single DSP. The system has successfully found its application in a speech recording equipment.
