摘要
在分析了塑料光纤耐辐照机理的基础上,讨论了一种聚合物塑料光纤的辐照特性,该塑料光纤由一种改良的聚碳酸酯聚合物材料组成.用γ-射线、电子束、质子束三种辐射源分别对其进行照射.结果发现,在低剂量(< 1 kGy)辐照时,辐照后塑料光纤的透过率非但没有下降,反而有所上升;尔后随时间的推移,透过率趋于稳定值.在高剂量(> 1 kGy)辐照时,辐照后透过率降低,随着时间的推移,透过率逐渐回升至稳定值.
The radiation characteristics of one kind of polymeric fiber were studied. This type of plastic optical fiber is composed of a reformed polycarbonate. While being radiated by γ ray, electron beam and proton beam respectively, it was found that under the low radiation dose (below 1 kGy) the plastic optical fiber's transmission rate would rise instead of being descended. After a period of time, it gradually reaches a constant value. But under the high radiation dose (1 kGy or more) the fiber's transmission descends after radiation. Later, it gradually goes up to a constant value. The anti radiation characteristics mechanism of plastic optical fiber was also described and analyzed.
