The main ideas of Zhu Jin's film asthetics are,firstly, paying special attention to deep historical connotation, epic spirit and thus resulting in a call for today's reality;secondly, advocating an appealing asthetic reality and stressing the approach of the film to the reality.These ideas are both a reaffirmation of the nature of films and a reflection of the general trend in the development of contemporary world films.
