Speed governors can make sure the operational safety of gasoline fork lift truck.This paper presents the composition of the test rig for a newly developed speed governor as well as the governor′s work principle and performance matching specifications.The test has verified the effect of the initial angle of the throttle valve and the number of workable coils of the spring on the engine′s performance and speed governoring characteristics.
