"手工艺"作为专有名词于20世纪初期在中国出现,它是中国工业发展与西方设计理念"嫁接"的结果。本文立足于丰富的国内外文献史料记载,从我国手工艺历史出发,对"手工艺"概念的产生及变化进行梳理和辨析,为当代手工艺理论研究提供一定基础和依据。

The word 'craftsmanship' appeared in early 20th century as a special term,which was a result of the 'marriage' of the industrial development in China and western design idea.With rich documents both from China and abroad,starting from Chinese craftsmanship history,this thesis makes organization and analysis on the birth and change of the concept 'craftsmanship',and provides certain basis and reason for further theoretical research on craftsmanship today.
