Scientific Development Rationality: Public Reason Characteristics in the Transitional Society of China

公共理性是西方现代政治哲学、公共哲学的核心范畴,是公共生活的合法性基础。当代中国转型社会公共理性表现为科学发展理性,主要基于两个理由:一,对求解中国转型社会问题的最佳回应;二,对古今中西公共理性的扬弃和创新。科学发展理性的公共价值原则是中国特色社会主义核心价值观。

Public reason, the core of modem Western political philosophy and public philosophy, is the ba- sis of the legitimacy of public life. Scientific development rationality is the prominent feature of public reason in the transitional society of contemporary China, which is based on the following two reasons： one the best response and solution to the problems existing in the transitional society of China; the other sublation and innovation of public reason in Chinese and western history. The public reason of sscientifie development rationality lies its fea- ture in the core values of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
