韩日独岛争议研究

A Study of Tokto Dispute between South Korea and Japan

独岛位于韩、日两国海域交界的东海,该岛面积仅有0.18平方公里,为无人居住的岛屿,因位处寒、暖流交汇处,渔产资源丰富,故涉及巨大的海洋利益,于是自1990年代以来,韩、日两国对于独岛主权争议冲突不断,甚至严重影响到东北亚区域的和平与安全。透过对独岛争议的研究,可在韩、日两国的领土争议中,撷取可资借鉴的经验。

Tokto locates at the junction between South Korea and Japan in the East China Sea. The uninhabited island is only 0.18 square kilometers. Because of its location in the cold and warm confluences, the island is rich in fishery resources and therefore involve substantial marine interests. Thus, since the 1990s, South Korea and Japan have constant disputes and conflicts over sovereignty of Tokto, even bringing about a serious impact on the Northeast Asian peace and security. The study of Tokto disputes may help to draw referential experience from territolial disputes between South Korea and Japan.
