柿树沟铝土矿床赋存于上石炭统本溪组碳酸盐岩不整合面上,严格受沉积间断面控制。铝土矿规模较大、稳定,矿体为层状或似层状,矿石构造类型为块状、层状。主要矿物成分由一水硬铝石、高岭石组成,有害元素少,并伴生有Ga元素等。矿床受潮湿热带气候中形成的红土化与成矿密切相关。侵蚀面上形成大小不等的洼地及溶斗是铝土矿的定位空间,海湾泻湖相沉积是铝土矿床形成的有利条件。矿床属于经过短距离搬运-机械沉积为主的铝土矿,具有较好的铝土矿成矿前景。

The deposits belong to main bauxite after short distance handling-machinery sedimentary, and have good bauxite metallogenie prospects.
