Discussion on “Appropriate Principle” in the Revision of Films and Videos of Chinese Classical Masterpieces——Taking A Dream of Red Mansions and Its Revised Films and Videos as an Example

本文以《红楼梦》原著及其改编的两部电视剧为例,从版本选择、主题立意、情节取舍、叙事方式、艺术风格、人物塑造等方面探讨古典名著影视改编的"适度性原则"和经验教训。

Taking the progenitor of A Dream of Red Mansions and its revised two TV drama programs as an example,this paper discusses ＂Appropriate Principle＂,experience and lessons in the revision of Chinese classical masterpiece films and videos in the perspective of version selection,theme conception,plot layout,narration method,artistic style,figure creation and so on.
