高校图书馆样本库现状思考

Reflections on Status Quo of Sample Database of University Library

在梳理国内迄今为止发表的所有关于样本库论文的基础上,总结出学术界对高校图书馆设立样本库的两种态度:设立改良型样本库;不设样本库。通过调查国内39所"985"高校图书馆的网络主页,总结出国内高校图书馆样本库存在现状。并从读者、文献和图书馆三个方面论述高校图书馆不设立样本库的优点。

Based on the study of all the papers about sample database which have been published in China, it is found that there are two different views in the academic circle towards ＇the establishment of sample database in university libraries, one is that the university libraries should have improved sample database, one is that they should not have sample database. This paper summarizes the status quo of sample database in Chinese university libraries based on the survey of the web site of 39 libraries in universities of ＂985 Project＂. Besides, the paper discusses the advantages of not having sample database in university libraries from the viewpoints of the reader, the reference and the library.
