论上海合作组织对中国安全的战略意义

The SCO's Strategic Importance on China's National Security

上海合作组织是2001年6月15日在中国上海成立的地区性政府间的国际组织。10年过去了,再论上海合作组织对中国安全的战略意义。我们认为,它有利于中国实施睦邻安西;有利于中国加强与其他成员国的经贸往来;有利于为中国能源进口提供一个新的相对安全的供应渠道;有利于开通中国与其他成员国的交通走廊;有利于中国与其他成员国和该组织观察员国之间构建集体身份。提升上合组织内部的凝聚力,加强该组织在国际上的话语权应是未来10年的努力方向。

SCO （Shanghai Cooperation Organization） was founded in shanghai on June 15, 2006 as a regional inter- govern- ment organization. After ten years, when we rethink and discuss its strategic importance on China＇s national security, we believe that SCO has a great influence to maintain good good - neighborly relationship with other countries. SCO strengthens economic and trade between member countries, and provides a new and relatively secure supplement to Chinese energy importation. In the mean time, SCO plays an important role in making contributions to new traffic corridor and building up a new community identity with other member countries and other observer countries. We believe that the destination for SCO in the next ten years lies with the cohesive forces between member countries and the enhancement of SCO＇s power to speak in international stages.
