Regulation of LXR and Metabolic Syndrome

摘要 肝X受体(LXRs)是一类配体依赖性激活的转录调控因子,属于核受体超家族,参与胆固醇体内代谢,在细胞信号转导中发挥重要作用。近年来研究显示,卵巢组织表达LXRs,通过招募辅助调节因子,激活FF-MAS/T-MAS-LXR信号转导途径,调控下游基因表达,从而参与糖脂代谢过程,有效改善脂肪肝和胰岛素抵抗,进而调控代谢综合征的病理生理进展。 Liver X receptors (LXRs) are ligand-activated transcription factors that come from the large superfamily of nuclear receptors, which are responsible for the metabolism of cholesterol and play an important role in the cell signal transduction. Recently, it shows that LXRs are expressed in the ovaries and induce downstream genes' expression by the LXR-dependent FF-MAS/T-MAS signaling pathway to regulate lipid and glucose metabolism, improve insulin resistance, especially in metabolic syndrome.
