摘要
Based on site investigation,the failure forms of pipes in the caustic soda evaporator were analyzed by means of inspecting macroscopic,metallurgical microstructure and SEM.It is concluded that the failure of the pipe results from corroding of high temperature caustic soda and eroding or rubbing of solid NaCl.Some suggestions for improvement to prevent such failure are presented.
