A method for the velocity measurment of the 3-D flow field is presented.The flow field is scanned in two different directions and the photographs are processed by 2-D PIV.The selfposition method that is used in the composing the 3-D velocity field is proposed.An experiment of measuring the Bénard-Rayleigh convection using these two methods is demonstrated.
