专科护士执行PICC导管尖端位置评估的可行性探讨

The feasibility of specialist nurses performing PICC catheter tip position assessment

目的:探讨静脉治疗专科护士是否能承担评估PICC导管尖端位置的职能。方法:由经过培训的5名静脉治疗专科护士对2010年4-12月入住我院行PICC置管的1016例患者的导管尖端位置进行评估。结果:专科护士对1013例患者PICC导管尖端位置的评估结果与放射科出具的诊断报告相吻合,准确率达到99.7%。结论:经过培训的专科护士有能力正确评估PICC导管的尖端位置,授权予专科护士PICC导管尖端位置评估职能是可行的,不仅大大缩短置管后患者用药等待的时间,且能及时处理导管异位的问题,在患者治疗的及时性、提高医务人员工作效率以及加快医院床位周转率等方面起到了积极的作用。

Objectives： To explore the feasibility of specialist nurses performing PICC catheter tip position assessment. Mehods： Five trained introvanous therapy specialist nurses assessed 1016 PICC tip positions from April to December in 2010. Results： We compared PICC tip positions assessment results between specialist nurses reports and radiology diagnostic reports and the results showed that the accuracy rate of specialist nurses was 99.7%.Conclusions： The trained specialist nurses are capable of performing PICC catheter tip position assessment and it is feasible to authorize specialist nurses to assess catheter tip position which could shorten the medication waiting time after PICC catheterization, deal with catheter malposition timely, and have a positive role in timeliness of patients＇ treatment, improving work efficiency of medical staff and accelerating the turnover rate of hospital beds.
