In the current unprecedented development of CPA profession in China,issues of developing and managing local large accounting firm brands are taken to a new level and attracting wide concerns.This article presents an analysis on the start of names,inheritance of culture,relevant transformation and mergers experienced of 8 local large firms,which are closely related to the development of well-known brands.It aims to explore the way of brand development for local firms during the process of becoming more competitive and larger and going international.
