A simulation of the turn-on transient photon number fluctuation of semiconductor lasers

摘要 利用状态空间法通过对含噪声项的Langevin速率方程的求解,得到半导体激光器开启瞬态光子数噪声的方差及其自相关函数.结果显示,半导体激光器非稳态的光子数噪声主要表现为弛豫振荡的颤抖时间. The approximate solution of rate equation with Langevin noise sources is described by state-space method. The variance and the autocorrelation function of the photon number noise for the turn-on transients are drawn out. It is shown that a significant part of the nonstationary photon number fluctuation can be described as timing jitter of relaxation oscillations.
