The manufacturing environment on networked economy era is discussed, which is characterized by fierce competition due to globalization, technical progress, and demand for customized product. It is pointed out that networked manufacturing model is coming.An agent based networked manufacturing model and the dynamic reconfiguration mechanism based on benefit driving are proposed. Finally, the basic idea for enterprise integration on agent based networked manufacturing model is presented.
