This paper introduced a novel kind of turbosupercharger speed measuring instrument which has been applied in railway locomotive field. It was based on vibration measuring theory. At first, the paper analyzed the reason why the novel measure method was used; then introduced the measuring theory of the new instrument; finally.discussed the hardware and software design idea of the new instrument.
