The organization department of Hunan （in south China）＇s provincial party committee, the working committee of organs directly under the provincial party committee, and the provincial women＇s federation recently held a conference on women officials＇ development in Changsha, capital of Hunan Province. Statistics released during the conference indicated, in recent years, an increasing number of women have participated in social administration and social affairs.
