It is introduced the composition demand for 1El158M steel for pin shaft of caterpillar, stated in detail the production process of it in Shi Steel ： adopting high - basicity refined slag, low - oxygen steel production process combining precipitating deoxidation and diffusion deoxidation together, stable control technique of sulphur and Ti/N, microstructure quality control of continuous casting billet. Its quality indexes all meet the demand for steel for pin shaft of caterpillar from Caterpillar Company and customers.
