张说“大手笔”考论

Study on the Great Master of Zhangshuo

张说是初唐渐盛时期的关键性人物,其文章雄浑阔达、骈散兼具,以"大手笔"在文学史上留下不朽美名。梳理张说之文在内容包涵、创作体式、情感生发、艺术魅力等方面的特征,阐明张说作为开元时期的政治家以及一代文宗,其"大手笔"不仅体现在撰制了数量众多的实用性文章,而且文章所呈现的格调恢弘、典雅富赡的风格,庄重整饬、骈散交融的文法技巧以及情真意切、据实而发的感情色彩等,也体现出"大手笔"的本质特征。

Zhangshuo is a key figure during the prospering period of early Tang Dynasty. He enjoyed an immortal reputation as a great master for his forceful essays and poems in parallel. By analyzing the characteristics of his works, such as contents, writing styles, emotion developments and artistic charm, this paper is to demonstrate that as a great politician and literary master of his time, his greatness not only lies in his creating a number of practical writing but in the elegance and grandeur of his writing style as well, also in his serious writing techniques with essay and poem in parallel and the genuine reasonable emotion. All of these are essential features of being a great master.
