论吴晗《金瓶梅》作者研究的贡献与失误

Wu Han and his studies of the author of The Golden Lotus

《金瓶梅》作者署名"兰陵笑笑生",其真实身份为谁,学界众说纷纭,莫衷一是。其中王世贞为《金瓶梅》作者一说,流传甚广,影响较大。著名明史专家吴晗先生通过对历代笔记、野史中有关王世贞作《金瓶梅》的种种传说和附会进行全面系统梳理后彻底否定了《金瓶梅》为王世贞所作。但随着"金学"研究的深入和新材料的不断发现,我们重新审视吴晗的研究,认为他的结论既有值得肯定的地方,又有明显的失误,其否定王世贞作《金瓶梅》,无论从逻辑上还是从文献文本上看都是根本不能成立的,这是受当时条件所限,未能把握《金瓶梅》独特艺术导致的结果。

The pseudonym of Langling Xiaoxiaosheng as the author of The Golden Lotus is long ques-tioned over its real identity. Wang Shizhen is extensively assumed as the real author, but this is turned o- ver by Wu Han, a well-known scholar of Ming history. The writers of this paper argue that the assump-tion by Wu Han is sheer rootless. Details are discussed in literature and logic as their basis against Wu Han.
