According to the investigation over the overloading and overrun status along trunk highways and rural roads in China, the study indi- cates the status of the overloading and overrun phenomena along trunk roads and rural roads, analyzes the reasons for the overloading and overrun behaviors, and points out the strategies to deal with the overloading and overrun behaviors on trunk and rural roads.
