In light of the current engineering cost management and contract management status, the paper analyzes the construction contract man- agement importance and key points from aspect of cost consultation, and points out that both the owner and construction unit must emphasize con- struction contract management, so as to effectively control engineering cost and to guarantee engineering project management quality.
