摘要
英语泛读课对高职英语专业学生扩大英语词汇量、培养英语语感、增强英语语言文化背景知识、提高英语阅读能力以及逻辑思维能力有着十分重要的意义。在泛读课中进行语篇教学有利于培养学生英语阅读过程中语篇分析能力，提高学生英语阅读能力，进而提高学生英语语篇水平上的交际能力。
It is very significant for English-major student of vocational colleges to broaden Engnsn vocabulary, to develop sense of English, to increase cultural background knowledge of English language, to improve their English reading abilities and logical thinking in the English extensive reading course. Meanwhile, discourse teaching in English extensive reading course also contributes to develop students＇ abilities of discourse analysis and improving their capabilities of reading comprehension, which further improves their communicating abilities on the level of English discourse.
