The experience of a 4600 type cylinder machine was rebuilt to be a fourdrinier was introduced. The running speed of the machine increased from 120 -150 m,/min to 350 -500 m,/min, production increased from 50 -70 t/d to 200 -250 t/d, basis weight of the products ranged 52 -150 g/m2 , production grades from liner board changed to be based paper of coated paper. The physical property of the products improved significantly and the consumptions of electric, coal, pulp and water reduced.
