摘要
梁实秋以"存真"原则为基础翻译《莎士比亚全集》,同时适当运用变通方法对莎剧的"民族意识化符号"、"民族声像化符号"、"民族社会化符号"、"民族地域化符号"以及"民族物质化符号"等"民族文化符号"进行不同程度的意译,主要体现在参照本土文化、发挥汉语优势、注重含蓄委婉、引起美好联想、介绍异域民俗等方面。以源语文化立场为基础,兼顾译入语文化传统,适当运用变通方法,这不仅使译文达到整体和谐的效果,而且体现了译者"中庸"的哲学视野。
Liang Shiqiu translated The Complete Works of Shakespeare on the basis of sincerity.Meanwhile,he used free translation to a different extent in the translation of "national cultural symbols","national ideological symbols","sound and image symbols of nation","national social symbols","national regional symbols" and "national material symbols".The accommodation was mainly adopted in referring to Chinese culture,making full use of Chinese advantages,emphasizing the connotation and euphemism,arousing pleasant associations and introducing folk custom of foreign countries.Liang Shiqiu takes the source-language culture as the basis and also takes the target-language culture into consideration,which reflects the state of equilibrium and harmony.
