摘要 MicroRNA-21(miR-21)广泛表达于多种组织,并且参与多种疾病的发生发展。近期研究表明,miR-21的表达在多种心血管疾病时发生改变,如动脉粥样硬化、肺动脉高压、心衰、心肌缺血等。MiR-21也参与调节血管平滑肌细胞、血管内皮细胞、心肌细胞、心肌成纤维细胞的功能。MiR-21通过抑制多种靶基因的表达参与上述作用。越来越多的证据表明,miR-21在心血管疾病中发挥重要作用,可能是治疗心血管疾病的新靶点。 MicroRNA-21 (miR-21) is abundantly expressed in almost all tissues and involved in many diseases. It is reported recently that expression of miR-21 is changed in many cardiovascular diseases, such as pulmonary hypertension, heart atherosclerosis, failure and myocardial ischemia. MiR-21 also participates in functional regulation of vascular smooth muscle cells, endothelial cells, cardiac myocytes and cardiac fibroblasts. All these effects of miR-21 are mediated by directing at multiple targets. There are increasing evidence suggesting that miR-21 plays a crucial role in cardiovascular diseases and may be a potential therapeutic target.
