Eichenbaum: the Creator, Guardian and Transcender of Russian Formalist Poetics

鲍里斯·米哈依洛维奇·艾亨鲍姆是20世纪俄苏著名文艺理论家、文学史家。在将近五十多年的学术生涯中,艾亨鲍姆参与了俄苏"形式论"学派的建构和守卫,并在晚年对"形式论"诗学进行总结,完成了批评方法的转变,实现了对早期诗学理论的修正和超越。

Boris Mikhailovich Eichenbaum （Борис Михайдоич Эйхебаум, 1886 - 1959） was a Russian literary theorist and literary historian. In the nearly 50 years of his academic career, Eichenbaum created and guarded Russian Formalism; and in his twilight years, Eichenbaum summarized the Russian formalist poetics, completed the transformation of critical methods, and achieved the revision and transcendence of the earlier poetic theory.
