体裁教学法在大学英语阅读教学中的应用

The Application of Genre-based Teaching Approach in the Teaching of College English Reading

以体裁和体裁分析为理论基础,将体裁教学法应用于大学英语阅读教学中,着重探讨采用"轮式体裁教学模式",设计丰富多样的课堂活动,引导学生从宏观角度分析语篇结构,从而提高学生阅读能力。

The fact that reading plays an important role in our University English teaching is beyond doubt, but methods used for it still lack deficiency. This paper, based on genre and its analysis, briefly demonstrates how genre-based teaching approach is tried in our teaching at tertiary level. With the ＇wheel＇ model of genre literacy pedagogy＇ adopted, some activities are designed in the classroom to help or guide students to analyze how the learning texts are organized macroscopically in the hope and with the purpose of enhancing the students＇ language awareness of the target language, thus leading to improve their reading competence to a certain extent.
