代际是移民文化适应研究的重要领域之一,该领域的纵深发展形成了新的研究分支。在相关理论方面,由于教育和民族认同等因素的纳入,可重新检验和修正各种经典理论,拓展机制模型的空间架构和适用程度;而从问题逻辑角度梳理代际差异的成因和结果,同时对情境中的家庭因素进行深入解析,则可以进一步关注心理健康问题。今后,将代际现象的研究与我国农民工的文化适应问题相结合,关注新生代农民工的代际特质,是移民文化适应研究中国化的一个重要发展方向。
