Call Drop is a common trouble in GSM-R system.It can produce an effect on the communication between the train and the station,and the transmission of the train control information.It’s one of the important problems to solve for the GSM-R communication system maintenance staff.This article discusses the reasons of the Call Drop from the aspects of handover failure,interference,parameter setting and device trouble,then proposes a feasible solution from a practical point of view.
