摘要
文章是对现有英文中国流行音乐研究在内容和方法论上的梳理和分析,以身份研究这一西方学者关注的中心议题为切入点。文章中,现代性和全球化背景成为各种身份表达的起因和归处。中国流行音乐被拓展至涵盖香港、台湾和其它华人聚集区的范围。在学科整合的层面上,作者将英文文献置于中文该领域的学科语境下,探讨中文写作者将流行音乐研究融入国际学术视野的可行性。
The article introduces and analyses existing English literatures and references about Chinese pop music studies in the perspective of identities centered in Western pop music studies. In the article, the context of modernization and globalization appear as the causes and shelters of the expressions of various identities. Chinese pop music spread as far as to Hong Kong, Taiwan and other Chinese communities worldwide. The author put the English literatures into Chinese language context and discusses about how to integrate pop music studies of Chinese scholars into Western academic circle.
