就我国上网的人群而言,大学生是上网的最大的群体之一,这是网络文化发展规律、网络文化高技术性和我国大学实际状况所共同决定的。大学是知识密集的场所,当今最先进的资讯和技术最先会到达这里,计算机等电子设备在高校几乎非常普遍和常见,客观上使大学生接触了解网络、使用网络、掌握网络变得十分容易。研究网络文化的内涵及育人特点对大学生思想政治教育工作尤为必要,只有从源头上理清网络文化的内涵及育人特点才能使大学生思想政治教育工作具有针对性。
