穷理并非一般意义上把一切道理穷尽,而是追索理后之理,以求追索到众理所归的原理;实践哲学还是哲学的一部分,中止说理不是实践哲学的要求;没有不同寻常之见的称不上哲学家,但身为哲学家,他须把这些洞见连回寻常之理,这本身并非寻常无奇之事,这种论证充满了创造性。
The task of dianoesis is,instead of exhausting each and every rationale,to reach the principal rationales to which common rationales merge.Practical philosophy is a part of philosophy,and it does not require the withdrawal of argumentation.Without distinctive insights,a philosopher is not a real philosopher.As a philosopher,however,he has to connect the insights with common sense.This constitutes the nature of philosophical argumentation.Showing such connections is by itself a creative activity.
