后果主义的严苛性异议

摘要 "严苛性异议"是后果主义理论所面临的一个重要批评,这一批评认为后果主义理论向行为者施加了过于严苛的道德要求。严苛性异议实质上是在反对后果主义关于行为正确性的标准:一个行为正确与否在于这个行为是否产生了最好的后果,这个标准主要包含两个要素:一是行为的正确性取决于其后果,二是这一后果是基于不偏不倚的立场得出的。但是后果主义的批评者针对这两个要素而提出的义务论证明和个人观点独立性证明都不足以为"严苛性"异议提供充分依据,因而也就不足以有效地反驳后果主义的道德要求。
