The paper introduces a DP1000-low hang Bridging machine for installing girder segments,including its general composition and the key technical indexes with emphasis on its two great special functions： one of that is self-hoisting the temporary support at the front side of front pier that is necessary to erect the bridge beam and self-hoisting the segment on top of front pier,another function is its self-walking function with two special slide steel boots.This bridging machine is novel,advance,practical,reliable,high construction efficiency,less requirement of the assistant machine and the construction equipments,which endues it with obvious technical and economical superiority.
