《酉阳杂俎》全面反映了唐代多元文化背景下人类的生存方式和唐代社会的大千风貌。段成式的撰著态度表现出鲜明的人类学取向。全书的表述语言极具生活口语化。故事内容是源自民间的珍奇怪异味。娱乐审美观贴近大众百姓。
Youyang Miscellany,written by DUAN Chen-shi in the Tang dynasty,gave a panoramic view of the living pattern and social features of the people under the diversified cultures at that time.The attitude of the writer exhibited obvious anthropological traits.Derived from folk fairy tales and unique anecdotes and written in plain colloquial language,his book well suited the aesthetic tastes of the general public.
