摘要
随着我国国际影响力的不断提升,中国文化的传播在对外汉语教学中显示出巨大的魅力。在全球化时代,任何一种文化的传播与发展都具有内在的"协商性",也就是始终保持与其他文化视角的对话,并在此基础上不断进行自我反思与自我变革。基于这种建构主义的理论视角,一些在国际学校任职的对外汉语教师的教学经历表明,中国文化的建构过程编织于中外文化视角的意义协商中,也编织于教师与学生的权力博弈中。只有充分理解文化传播的内在协商性,以及协商过程中的权力运行特点,对外汉语教师才能逐步走出迷茫,获得文化自觉与文化自信。
With the increasing influence of China, the transmission of Chinese culture has played an ira-portant role in teaching Chinese as a foreign language (TCFL). In the era of globalization, the transmis- sion and development of any particular culture is inherently negotiated. That is to say, the culture keeps communicating with other cultural perspectives and thereby, makes self-reflections and transforms itself constantly. With such a constructive perspective adopted, this research explores the construction process of Chinese culture in TCFL by interviewing many TCFL teachers in international schools. The teachers ~ experiences show that Chinese culture was constructed through the negotiation of meaning between the Chinese culture and foreign culture, and the game of power between teachers and students. The in-depth understanding of the negotiated nature of culture transmission, as well as the power struggles that charac- terize the negotiation process, would facilitate the TCFL teachers~ development of identity as a confident teacher with cultural awareness.
