The Paradox in Russian Postmodern Literary Criticism

在俄罗斯,后现代主义文学批评呈现出在西方的在场中,追踪本土后现代主义的历史源流、论证其诗学体系与美学特征、反思其生存危机的多种批评实践,透露出以西方后现代主义为参照寻找同一性、识别相异性的双重努力。俄罗斯的后现代主义论者们虽然主观上力求突出本土后现代主义独立而独特的生存机制和诗学形态,然而客观上却不得不以西方模式为标准考察俄罗斯特殊的后现代主义文学状况、以西方后学为指导思考和论证其特殊性,最终还不得不用西方话语来表述其特殊性。这是俄罗斯后现代主义文学批评的最大悖论。

The critical practice of Russian postmodern literary critics is mainly done in these aspects： tracing the historical orion of local postmodernism in the presence of the West, discus- sing the poetic system and aesthetic features of local postmodenism, and meditating over the crisis of its existence. This practice reflects the double efforts of the Russian postmodernists trying to lo- cate both the identity and discrepancy between Russian and Western postmodernisms. Although subjectively Russian postmodernists attempt to emphasize the independent and unique system and form of the local postmodernism, objectively they have to rely on the Western paradigm in their examination of Russian postmdernist literature and evaluation of the characteristics of Russian postmodernist literature, and are forced to express such characteristics in Western discourse, which is the greatest paradox in Russian postmodern literary criticism.
