iSchools: Preparing for Information Challenges of the 21st Century——The Development Process and the Latest Progress of iSchools

摘要梳理iSchools的发展背景,阐述iSchools跨学科的特征;回顾历届I-Conference年会并聚焦2012年第七届I-Conference,论述社会上关于信息、人与技术的具体应用问题。最后总结iSchools的发展特点及趋势。 The author combs the background of iSchools, clarifies the interdisciplinary characteristics of the iSchools colleges, reviews all previous I-Conference and focuses on the seventh I-Conference in 2012, to show the community on specific applications of information, people and technology. The author finally summarizes the development characteristics and trends of iSchools.
