西部二本院校英语专业大学生写作能力发展研究

Diachronically Study of Second-Level Tertiary English Majors’ Writing Competence in West China

英语写作能力是最基本也是最富实际需求的英语语言能力。本研究在文献阅读的基础上探索确定了客观测量学生英语写作语言能力发展变化的基本指标,并通过实证对西部某二本院校英语专业大学生的写作能力做了历时研究。研究发现:经过两年的学习,学生的整体语言能力有所提高,但仍存在不少问题;另一方面,英语学习中的思辨缺席症实质上是思想观点囿于较低的语言水平的限制而难以成功表达,由此认为无论是着眼于学生的未来发展,还是根除学生英语学习中的思辨缺席症,首要的是提高学生的基本英语语言能力。

This paper makes a diachronic study of English writing competence on the part of English majors from one second-level tertiary university in west China. Two years＇ learning and practice witnessed a gradual improvement on the two aspects of language and viewpoint, but language competence is far from qualification as English majors, and it interferes in the successful production of mature views. And thus the conclusion is to improve their English language, which will definitely help decrease the poor views in English writing and also meet the possible needs in the future career.
