社区教育是实现终身教育的重要形式和建立学习型社会的基础。随着中原经济区建设的大力推进,河南的社区教育将承担起提高人口素质的重大使命。广播电视大学与社区教育有着天然的密不可分的联系,从一定角度看,电大所从事的工作,是"有实无名"的社区教育。不论从电大的特点优势看,还是从电大参与社区教育取得的成绩来看,依靠电大系统开展社区教育是比较优化的选择。

Community education is an important form of life-long education and it is also the basis of a learning society. With the vigorous development of Zhongyuan Economic Zone and Zhongyuan Urban Agglomeration, ccommunity education in Henan will take on a great mission to improve the quality of the population. Radio and Television University and community education are inextricably linked. From a certain perspective, the work undertaken by the Radio and TV University is ＂de facto＂ community education. Whether from the unique advantage of the Radio and TV University or from its achievements in community education, relying on the Radio and TV system to carry out community education is a good choice.
