同为"新文化运动"文学巨匠的林语堂和鲁迅,在反帝反封建的斗争中志同道合,然而后来两人在文学的社会功用上产生分歧,继而选择了截然不同的文学道路。从家乡环境、家庭背景和留学经历这三方面来分析其中的原因,有助于我们更好地了解两位作家的思想渊源及其作品。

As the greatest writers in the New Cullural Movement, Lin Yutang and Lu Xun had a common goal in fighting against the imperialism and feudalism. However, they were divided in opinions on the social function of literature and followed quite different literary path.
