摘要
本文阐述了水工业及水质科学与工程学科出现的原因和迫切性，同时分析了该学科内涵和外延及其与相关学科的联系与区别；对于中国二十一世纪水工业的可持续发展战略进行了相应的探讨。
In this paper the reasons and urgency for appearance of water industry and the branch of water quality science and engineering were depicted, and also the connotation and extension of the branch, the link and difference between is and related ones were analyzed. Based on them, China's 21st water industry and sustainable development strategy were discussed correspondingly.
