老龄产业是专门以老年人口为服务对象,以市场化运作配置资源为主的向老年人提供商品和服务的产业体系和经济活动的总称。我国老龄产业具有广阔的发展空间和巨大的发展潜力,是提升老年人生活质量的一个重要途径,但其发展滞后于老年消费群体的巨大需求和老年人口的快速增长。养老、照料服务模式需要出台新的机制,以促进老龄产业加快发展。

The old-age industry refers to the industry system of the commodities and service especially for the old people considered as a group mainly noted by marketization allocation of resources.As one of the important approaches to elevate the living quality of the elderly,the old-age industry in China possesses an enormous growing space and huge developmental potential.However,its advance still lags behind the great demands of the aged group and rapid increase of the aged population.Thus,it is necessary for old-age support and care service model to create new mechanisms.Only in this way,can we promote the development of the old-age industry considerably.
